An app design proposal for Seha Abu Dhabi Health Services to tackle booking medical appointments, keep an updated health records and identify patient allergies and diet system.


Multiple back-to-back meetings with the stakeholders were important:

  • To gain an understanding of the business requirements for features requires more clarity or discussing specific flows.

  • Showcasing rough sketches on a day-to-day basis discussing experience direction, implementation limitations and where we can improve the journey for patients while trying to create a new booking to be the easiest way possible.

Sketching on paper during quick meetings sales director and in my own time led to multiple results:

  • The appointment process would allow filtering booking either by facility or appointment type.

  • Suggested a focus on highlighting sooner dates, allow the user to change the facility and the selected Physician anytime during the journey before booking is complete without having to start from scratch

  • User Medical Record “ My profile “ would be a modular concept that pushes the most important information to the user that requires an action first it can be a notification or a suggestion to fill in missing information such as measurements or medications.
