BMW Service Center Dubai operated by AGMC is one of the biggest centers in the region to provide maintenance services for BMW car owners, and our goal was to provide a solution to assist in increasing workshop and car tracking services efficiency for a better services for their customers.

Problem Statement
There exists a persistent efficiency challenge within BMW workshops that has led to a growing number of unattended cars, resulting in delayed deliveries. The workshops often operate over capacity, creating significant disruptions in both planning and service timelines. To address these inefficiencies and optimize workflow, we propose the implementation of advanced AI camera systems. These systems are envisioned to intelligently monitor workshop environments, ensuring streamlined operations and facilitating timely service deliveries, thereby enhancing overall workshop productivity and customer satisfaction.
The Challenge
Provide a clear navigational dashboard for workshop managers to identify workshops and their zones, drill down to view a car journey such as current location on the map, car stages, and an accessible search field for looking up cars using key elements such as car plate numbers.

A clear timeline of the car history across different stages of its service would quickly help the workshop team take proactive decisions

Workshop Capacity
Overall statistics per Workshop would provide a better idea of its current capacity, and performance and help the workshop managers make proactive decisions to avoid maintenance and delivery delays.

KPI Settings
While tracking the service center, workshop, and car statistics, dynamic KPI settings will help the managers and operational team set targets and define their plans for example staff availability leading to better service time and increased efficiency targets.

Prototype & live solution
The design process went through multiple iterations and a feedback cycle and the following design represents the outcome of those activities.
Results
Embowed by physical ai powered cameras by Pulses.ai installed across BMW service center from the entry gate to the exit gate and all locations and features proposed in the product design phase hypothesis were confirmed to be valid.
