Background
Good Food company operating from Egypt takes care of the leftover food in whole or meals from restaurants, and supermarkets and offers it back to users at a discounted price instead of letting them go to waste, The app needed a redesign to be able to accommodate a good experience as well the purpose of it and I was hired to take upon the challenge.

Navigation
The Previous app navigation structure was under a menu sidebar however based on the common patterns we wanted to bring top-level menu items forward such as Discover, Buy Again, Cart with amount visible, and a menu drawer to access the remaining views.
Products Listings
Allow small devices to easily display multiple products, provide larger image previews, and accommodate longer product names. The interface would facilitate swift additions and removals of items, while discounts and highlights to be more prominent for better visibility.
Orders
We hypothesize that updating users from the home screen, offering quick access to detailed orders will streamline user tasks, encouraging engagement and By infusing the app with personalized, fun artwork, we anticipate fostering a deeper user connection, enhancing their experience, and promoting authenticity.

Keeping stakeholders in sync in weekly remote meetings was vital:
To keep everyone synced, I created an online board to get comments during the week on discoveries and sharing with them, and keep the feedback loop fast and intuitive.
To get a better understanding of the direction they are looking for in the UI elements and how the transitions between screens would take place make sure to be aligned with the developers.

From wireframes to high-fidelity designs, I meticulously maintained consistency across all app screens by a crafted prototype of the design system library for the app, building on that foundation, seamlessly integrating it as a pivotal element to design the app screens, the following image showcases an overview of how it was transformed.
